Raised in a Christian home, Jacob rebelled by getting into drugs and eventually he joined the army looking for stability. While serving in the Canadian infantry in Afghanistan, Jacob Williams had many instances that made him believe that God was real. One included his platoon, facing off against the Taliban and after 300 rounds were fired at each other - not one bullet hit anyone. After almost a 10 year career, Jacob left suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder - getting anxious in crowds, feeling drunk when he was sober. He eventually lost everything - his child, spouse, home, car and declared bankruptcy. He ended up living with his parents and started reading the bible again. God began speaking to him and his life gradually began to change, supernaturally. He eventually met Michaela and the two have been married now for 3 years and are expecting their first child soon. After seeing eight friends commit suicide due to PTSD, Jacob's word to vets suffering with the disorder is: "Just pray to the Lord. Ask Him, like He's your friend. Ask Him, what, how to change. How to fix this. What to do. He'll answer you."
