John Jonathan grew up in Hamilton, Ontario. He got involved drugs by the age of 11. Smoking pot progressed to selling it, then selling ecstasy, shrooms and other drugs. Basically whichever drug he is using, he would sell that too.

John then got involved in a gang that operated a drug grow-op. As he got more and more involved in the world of crime, a gun was a necessity.

One day, there was a stabbing and john ended up saving someone's life. That sparked a disagreement in the gang, thinking that action wasn't "solid". So John decided to rob them and in that process, he shot someone who really wasn't a part of the whole situation. The gang tried to take revenge - firing 3 shots at John at point blank range the next day.

When none of bullets hit John, he realized that God had saved his life. Eventually he was arrested, convicted and sent to Millhaven prison. It was then he gave his heart and life to Christ and was totally transformed.

While in solitary confinement he watched 100 Huntley Street and it became his sole spiritual influence for a period of 3 months. After being released from prison, John moved to Owen Sound, met his wife Brandi at a church bible study. They now have 3 young children. John is involved in his church and also a prison ministry.

John so appreciates the ministry of 100 Huntley Street which forever changed his life.
